Srinagar, Pahalgam and Sonamarg Tour Itinerary
Day 1
On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be taken for a 35 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum river, visit the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar, Hazratbal Dargah Sharif, Chashma Shahi Garden, Dal Lake, Nagin Lake, Pari mahal Shankaracharya Temple. Dinner and Overnight in hotel / houseboats.
Day 2
After breakfast in the morning, proceed towards Gulmarg. You can do Khilanmarg sightseeing here by gondola ride (at your own cost), and return back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3
After breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam. .En-route visit Saffron fields, Anantnag Sulphur Springs. Drive through the green pine forest and along the Lidder River. In Pahalgam, visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows (at your own cost). After sightseeing around the mountain valley for most of the day, we will drive back to Srinagar and Overnight at a hotel.
Day 4
After having breakfast in the hotel, In the morning, you will be driven for full day excursion trip to Sonmarg.
Sonamarg (Meadow of Gold) - It is a place of enthralling beauty, lies in Sindh Valley, streamed with flowers, surrounded by mountains and perched at an altitude of 2690 m above sea level. Visited less frequently by tourists, it has as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a clear sky. It is a quiet alpine retreat surrounded with sycamore, silver birch, fir and pine trees and the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. It is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes.
OPTIONAL - One can enjoy a Horse ride at Sonamarg.
Afternoon drive back from Sonmarg to Srinagar , overnight stay at the houseboat/ Hotel
